I’m Avory Dye (Allmand), the photographer and filmmaker behind ROUGHSPUN. I got my first camera when I was six, and somewhere along the way, looking closely became both a way of moving through the world and a way of making a living.

Based in Colorado and happy to follow a good story elsewhere, I create photo + film for brands, people, and places with character. My work moves between campaigns, dusty arenas, live stages, and the quieter moments in between. I’m drawn to imagery that gives you a sense of being there; the light, the movement, and the people who make a place what it is.

My role often starts long before the camera comes out. From shaping a concept and scouting locations to styling wardrobe, gathering the right people, and directing on set, I love bringing the pieces together. ROUGHSPUN is where that hands-on approach meets my eye for a story.
